Get excited biking community!  Revelstoke will be hosting it’s 1st own Bike Festival August 10th-12th. The festival will start on Friday night with a Dressed up poker run. The event is to be family friendly and will involve biking all over town in the quest of the best hand! So dress-up (if you want), pick-up your bike and your friends and come on down at the Regent’s parking lot at 6pm on Friday night!
The festivities will continue with a Criterium on Saturday night. The event will be divided in different categories including kids and walk-bike, road bike, mountain bike and townnie. The race will take place in the beautiful downtown and will consist in 6 laps of a close circuit! To sign up for the Crit and guarantee front row position early email your name and contact details to mike@skookumcycle.com  250-814-9728 or just sign up in the Grizzly plaza between 4pm and 5:30pm on Saturday. Come on down in your spandex kit or baggy short to take part or cheer the racers!
Revelstoke is well known for its amazing alpine riding! The Festival could not take place without taking advantage of the highcountry trails. Saturday morning, join a group for a ride to Frisbee Ridge for a great day in the alpine. Sunday will be a chance to go on another group ride but this time up Keystone Standard Basin.
