Digging with the BunniesÂ
On Sunday, April 14, the sounds of people laughing and digging could be heard on Team Pangor. Yep, the Bunnies are back again! This is the third year that Ryders Eyewear and the Muddbunnies Riding Club (BC) have joined forces to take part in the NSMBA’s TAP program. Under the watchful eye of Sven Luebke, our trail builder, 12 Bunnies set to work improving drainage and flow. Lunch was provided by the very talented Dorothy Luebke, who has promised us trail-side fajitas for the next dig day.
The weather co-operated and a very tired group of Bunnies trekked out of Pangor after a successful day of digging. Rydershelped ease our fatigue with a BBQ on their rooftop patio. No better way to finish a fantastic day!
There’s lots more work to be done on Pangor, and our next trail day is set for Sunday, May 26th. Watch the forum for further details closer to the time. If you haven’t been to a trail day before, this is a great opportunity to meet Muddbunnies, learn about line and flow, and give back to the trails that give us so much joy! No experience is necessary, and food and beverages are provided.
The next MuddBunnies TAP trail day is schedule for May 26th from 9am to 4pm meeting in the Old Buck parking lot in North Vancouver. Dorothy has promised trail side fajitas! Hope to see you diggin’ in the dirt on May 26!
Check the forumfor more information on up coming trail days.
The Muddbunnies encourage and welcome female riders of all experience and skill levels to join them in getting down and dirty. Come on, ride like a girl!
