2012 West Side Mtn Bike Series-#2: Soaring Eagle Park

Are you ready for the second race in the Singletrack Cycles West Side Mountain Bike Series event at Soaring Eagle Park, in Washington State, on March 4th?

Sunday’s weather looks promising saying partly cloudy.  Come on out and have some fun!

Also note there is a trail maintenance party on Saturday!  Mike Gaudio is coordinating with King County Parks, and it is great when we can show that people like to use the trails, and help with them too!  If you are there to help on Saturday, your race entry will be comp’d for Sunday!  Let Mike know by responding to the link on the BuDu Racing Facebook page.

Course Info:

Location is about 25 miles east of Seattle – Google Maps here.

This course is not as technical as the last event, so course laps may be quick.  If they are quick, each category may be able to do more laps.  This is an estimate:

Beginner: 1 to 2 laps (12 and under age group will do 1 lap)

Sport (Clydesdale): 2 to 3 laps

Expert (Single Speed): 3 to 4 laps

PLEASE READ!!!

  1. You need to KEEP your bike number, or you will be charged for a replacement. Remember, your bib has a timing tag on it that is linked to you on our race system.
  2. Next race, you just need to go to the notebook, and get your registration sheet. You need to SIGN and TURN IN the form to the registration table, pay your fee (unless you are a season pass holder), or you are not considered a participant (and that includes those with a season pass). We do not want you to complete another form, or you will be listed as a new participant.
  3. Because of the timing tag, you CAN NOT cross the finish line with your bike number once the race has started (you can only do this, if your race is completed). PLEASE remember this, and take your bike number off if you are warming up.

BuDu loves their sponsors, and hopes that you will support them!!
