The rumours have been buzzing around the cycling community that the relationship with the Athertons and Commencal was coming to an end. And sure enough, the news was made official when Mr.Commencal himself announced the separation in an interview with French magazine, VeloVert, “They had the opportunity to go into a large structure, which is perfectly understandable.”
The future of the Athertons is unknown at this time but it has been suggested in various Mountain Biking publications that they will team with GT.
