How much do you love biking? Enough to make a movie about it? How about just a short one? Well, hurry up! You’ve got just a few weeks until the deadline for submissions to the 10th Annual Filmed by Bike film festival that takes place April 13-18.
Every year over 100 short bike movies from all around the world are submitted to the festival, but only a select few make the final cut. A jury panel of film and bike enthusiasts tediously wades through the good, the bad and the impressive to create a film festival like no other.
Bike racers rush furiously across the screen, adventurers tour foreign lands, tricksters show off their mad skills, bicycles fall in love make little baby tricycles and cinematic creativity flourishes in the top movies selected for the festival. Submissions are limited to only eight minutes in length, making for a fast and frantic festival. Themed programs play throughout, including the special Blood, Sweat and Gears cyclocross night.
