The superstars were out watching the dual slalom, like the famous Miss January.

The second part of our day was spent watching the Telus Dual Slalom event that brought out some of the fastest women on the circuit! The track is two individual lines that mirror each other and two racers compete head to head competing for the fastest time on the course. Each racers completes the course twice, once on each side.
It was like the pump-track of my dreams. In fact, I heard some racers comment that there were only specific areas they were able to get in any peddle strokes.

Unfortunately, after waiting a few hours, the organizers of the event decided to postpone the race until the following day. At this time a herd of racers stampeded the course and a few female racers to decided to give the crowd a show on their way down by stripping off their tops! What great, thoughtful women!
