Since 2008 Muddbunnies Race Team calendar sponsor, Dunbar Cycles has been expanding its involvement in the Canadian race scene, and it’s now time to take all our race and suspension knowledge to the next step. 2011 marks the opening of the Dunbar Cycles’ Suspension Center, and we are launching it with a one time offer, free service on all suspension work for the month of November!
Fox suspension getting prepped for an overhaul.
With the greatest racer presence of any shop on the BC Cup circuit, Dunbar Cycles has been putting in some serious R&D time into the inner workings of suspension. Following a very successful season, in which the team has claimed both the Regional and National Downhill titles, we are proud to announce the opening of the in-house Dunbar Suspension Center!
What does this mean for you as a rider? This in-house suspension center means mountain bikers from all over the greater Vancouver area, and within the lower mainland will have the ability to not only get their suspension serviced at a convenient location, but will have the ability to request tuning advice, and even custom tuning for serious racers, all at an affordable price. At this stage our capabilities lay predominantly with Fox and RockShox products, but can provide basic services on other brands subject to the availability of parts.
What about pricing? We understand that coming into December, as well as the down season for many mountain bikers money is not as free flowing as it typically is mid summer. So, for the month of November, we are going to be offering any suspension service on Fox or RockShox suspension, whether it be a simple overhaul or full custom tuning, all labour will be on the house! This means the only charges you will see on your invoice will be for oil and parts.
So instead of letting your high end suspension sit around all winter to wallow in a full season’s worth of grit and grime bring it into Dunbar Cycles and receive a once in a lifetime ridiculous deal! This offer will only be available for the month of November, so now’s the time to take advantage of it! Servicing times will be subject to availability of parts and turn around time will vary on workload, but you can expect about 72 hours down time. One minor request we would like to make is – please bring your bike in clean.
