EB Chickas Team Fundraiser!
Endless Biking would like to introduce their 2007 Women’s team, the EB Chickas!
Amber Zirnhelt, Meghan Illingworth, Kat Duffels, Colleen Keyland, Danielle Baker, Monika Marx, Kelli Sherbinin
This team was created to help inspire and encourage more women to get involved in mountain biking and mountain bike racing. Training has already started for these young inspiring women, with some wanting to experience racing for their first time and others who are already racing at the women’s elite level. They are very excited to be racing this year and are looking forward to the team’s first race, The Brodie Rat Race on May 6 th, in Roberts Creek. Look for them ripping it up at the Ripper Super D, the Kamloops BC Race, the Mt. 7 Psychosis, Crankworx and other events happening throughout the season. The women look forward to helping support their fellow racers, so if you see them at an event feel free to ask them questions or hit the course for a pre-ride with them.
The EB Chickas are holding a team fundraiser on Thursday, May 10th at the Blarney Stone (216 Carrall St, Vancouver). Tickets are $5 and are available from the EB Chickas team members or at Obsession Bikes (94 Lonsdale Avenue, North Vancouver). Doors open at 7pm, with house band – Killarney playing at 10pm. Come out for a night of drinks, dancing, door prizes and raffles. Proceeds from the event will help the team with race fees and travel costs.
