This past weekend, the Florida Muddbunnies Riding Club Chapter was officially launched and it was AMAZING!! We had already 17 members by the first day !!! All levels of riders came out to meet each other and take part in the first official club ride!!
When Muddbunnies Ambassador Diana come to visit in May, we set the wheels in motion to begin organizing the launch of a Florida Muddbunnies Club. Â We had regular Skpye meetings after that, to ensure all things were in place to make for a successful launch weekend, as well as a successful riding club!
We are so proud of all the ladies who came out and rode with people they didn’t know.  That’s what Muddbunnies is all about – meeting new people, and spending time with like minded women, doing what we love – riding bikes in the dirt! Mountain biking can be pretty intimidating, especially when we are just starting out. That is what so great about the Muddbunnies, we are about empowering women to get out and ride.
The support from our sponsor shop, Olde Towne Cyclery, (shop owner Teresa Costello), as well as the Ocala Mountain Bike Association (OMBA) has been amazing. I love having such a supportive group within our riding community.
Looking forward to shredding some trails with all of you ladies. We are now scheduling our regular rides. Make sure you ladies check the forum for the rides.
