The Whistler Off Road Cycling Association – News Bulletin
Local mountain biker and skier Nick Geddes is fighting leukemia. Nick and his family are a huge part of the Whistler biking community. Whistler Blackcomb, the Bike Park, Phat Wednesdays and WORCA and the community would like to raise money on his behalf. The final Kokanee Phat Wednesday of the summer will be the traditional Chainless A-line were we will auction and raffle off donations from local businesses and sponsors. All proceeds will go to the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation Cancer Research.
The Final Phat Wednesday is August 31, 2011. Racing starts at 6:00pm with après at 8:30pm on the GLC patio.
