Anneke’s Bio:
My whole life I’ve been riding bikes. I started riding BMX when I was 4 years old. Now I am 27 years old and I am still riding my bike. My family supported me from the beginning on. After winning the National championships 6 times and being World Champion twice, I was looking for a new challenge.
When I rode a mountainbike downhill for the first time in my life, I just loved it. From then on I knew what I wanted to do. Then I got the opportunity to race for a professional Dutch mountainbike team, I took it and I learnt a lot about professional sports and how to get down a mountain fast.
A little girl’s dream came true when I became a professional bike rider. For the last years I’ve been riding for the Specialized Factory Team, the BikePark.ch team and the MS-Intense Factory-Racing team. Upcoming season I will continue to race around the world with the help of Intense Cycles and Veltec. I’m looking forward to an even greater and more successful season.
