Port Moody’s “Backyard Trail” trail day on Saturday, July 21st

On Saturday July 21st, TORCC will be partnering with the City of Port Moody to cooperatively rehabilitate a section of the “Backyard Trail”. This trail is an important connector for walkers and mountain bikers as it connects Bert Flinn Park with the Ioco Road/Shoreline Park area. For the majority of its run, it parallels Parkside Drive. It is identified as the red trail on this map.

This trail is beginning to show deterioration in parts and some rerouting is necessary in other areas. TORCC is working in partnership with the City of Port Moody to improve the conditions of this trail for all users.

We will be meeting at the trail entrance across from 146 Parkside Drive (click here for a map of the exact location) at 9am. Lunch will be provided.

To help plan work parties, as well as prevent us wasting money on uneaten food, you are requested to register for the trail day by clicking here.

A big thank you goes out to our trail day sponsors:
Secret Cycles – Coquitlam
KinTec Footwear
City of Port Moody
West Coast Racing
Pedalheads / Atlantis Programs
