My take?
The Amara fits just like any other Kali I’ve had the pleasure of wearing – awesome. I find the Kali helmets really do fit so comfortable and the Amara is no exception. Last year I discovered night riding and haven’t looked back. Have you ever been out for a ride on a clear night in August at midnight when its a calm 20 degrees? I have… and its amazing.
With most helmet light mounting systems one has to struggle with Velcro. Finding the best way to wrap it around and through the holes on the helmet. Its frustrating, time consuming and frankly I dreaded it. But not with the Amara! The Amara comes with 3 different mounts to fit most lights or cameras. My light brand is not all that common so I wasn’t sure if they would be able to mount. Which I was ok with. I was fully prepared to sell my current light and buy another just to never have to weave Velcro again, ha. To my surprise and delight my random light mounts with no problems in about 1 second. Check out the before and after helmet/light situation. Enough said. Stoked!
