Aug 20th – A lot of new faces came down to Pipeline’s Pump Track tonight to
rip up the track and see if any qualifying records, or win streaks, could be
broken. BMX rippers Nick Gortzen and Torie Nyhaug represented the 20s but
split the 4 top qualifying spots with mountain bikers Tyler Gorz and Tim
Gadd. Mischa Partridge showed some of the cleanest laps on the BMX going up
against MTB veteran Brian Onofrichuk. Layne Nyhaug and Judy Garren showed
how the girls can keep up with the boys, and Trevor Geib and Carey Gormann
rounded out the junior class.
There were tons of aggresive riding, crashes, and cheering from the crowd.
