Reflect Sports Hoo Ha Ride Glide – A Review!

Name/Age: Maiken, 30

Years Riding: 3 years

Product you are testing: Reflect Sports’ Hoo Ha Ride Glide

Size of product: 8 fl/oz

How long you have been riding the product: I started using Hoo Ha 4 months ago when I went to Moab. After riding for 2 to 4 hours a day for 8 days in a row I felt great. Hoo Ha Ride Glide definitely makes endurance riding more enjoyable during and after the ride.

During what style of rides do you wear it on? Endurance rides…anything longer than 2 hours.

How do you compare the product to the competitors (and which competitors): The only other cream I’ve tried is Chamois Butt’r. I found that it did not provide long term relief like Hoo Ha Ride Glide does. Hoo Ha’s peppermint scent is a winning feature as well!

Word on the street (popular/not popular): Hoo Ha Ride Glide is not easily found in the Lower Mainland yet so there are not too many people raving about this product. If you’re looking to try it I got mine at Tri-Geeks Multi-Sports in South Surrey.

General Ride characteristics/fit: There are two key features that I think are noteworthy about this product. The cream has peppermint in it which provides a soothing and cooling effect. This lasts for quite a while which definitely helps with any irritation or saddle sores. Also, if you’ve done a grueling ride and you outlasted the cream, it has antibiotic properties (tea tree oil) in it to help with post ride healing (apply a small amount post ride and you’ll be golden!). It comes in individual serving sizes that you can bring on your really, really long rides.

Your thoughts on improving the product (Pros/Cons): The only improvement would be for Reflect Sports to start supplying their products further up the West Coast.
