The Tara Llanes Classic will Feature a Super D, XC, Kid’s race, Industry Cup race, & new movie premiere!!
Super D
The TLC Super D will start on the Tahoe Trail, with a super smooth and flowy trail with fast turns! Â At the top of Vista racers head over to Flameout for more even more flow followed by some amazing berms and rollers on the way to Sticks & Stones. Â Racers head straight into rock drops and wood work before some big slab rock gardens . Â The race finishes with smooth berms and sweet jumps and a final high speed fly away feature at the finish!
The course is 1400 vertical feet and 2.25 miles long!
TLC XC
The TLC XC is new for 2011 and we’re super excited! The course promises to test your technical skills and of course be loads of fun….after all this is the TLC!
Start / Finish at Mid-Mountain. Climb up the Burton Academy Trail to the Ritz-Carlton and descend Bumps and Bends back to Mid-Mountain. Climb up Tryumph near the Cross-Country Center to the Woods single-track. Descend the Woods to Deerpath. Climb up the lower portion of Village Run over to 6% and continue up Easy Rider back to Mid-Mountain.
All categories will race on the same course. Category 3 (Beginner) will do 2 laps (13.8 miles), Category 2 (Sport) will do 3 laps (20.7 miles) and Category 3 (Expert) & Pro will do 4 laps (27.5 miles). Pro/Expert will begin first
