The Island Cup series has been supporting grass roots racing for over ten years. The races are based on fun with all levels of competitors encouraged to participate. In 2006 the island saw a huge jump in numbers, especially in the downhill series.
Races are typically $15 plus shuttles (for downhill) and you have to have an island racing license which can be purchased at any race or you can get one day insurance. Its a great deal for a fun day of racing with great people and lots of draw prizes to be won. If you have never raced before or if you have never raced on the island then you gotta check it out.
