Airfare is not included. Entry is non-transferable. To enter and be eligible to win, entrant must be eighteen (18) years of age or older and a competent mountain biker. Employees and their parents, siblings and children, and persons domiciled with an employee of the Contest Sponsor, its agents, parent, affiliated or related companies, subsidiaries, divisions, prize sponsors, and promotional and advertising agencies and administrators, are ineligible to enter.
Prize winner is solely responsible for all costs not expressly described on the Contest page including, without limitation, applicable taxes, fuel/currency surcharges, ground transportation, meals, beverages, room service, gratuities, merchandise, telephone calls, insurance together with any required travel documentation, and all personal expenses of any kind or nature. It is the sole responsibility of the Prize winner and his/her travelling companion(s) to obtain all necessary travel documentation including passports and visas where applicable and to comply with any customs and immigration requirements. The Prize winner must be able to travel at the times and dates as determined by the Contest Sponsor in its sole discretion failing which the prize will be forfeited. It is recommended that the Prize winner obtain sufficient personal insurance prior to departure. The Prize must be accepted as awarded. The Prize may not be sold, transferred and is not convertible to cash. Contest Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Prize in whole or in part in the event that all or any component of the Prize is unavailable. The Prize winner is solely responsible for all costs not expressly described herein.
Prize claimants consent to the use of their name, city of residence, likeness, comments and/or photograph and their submitted video, without further compensation, in any future publicity carried out by the Contest Sponsor in connection with this contest.
If for any reason, in the opinion of the Contest Sponsor(s), in its/their sole discretion, the contest is not capable of running as originally planned, or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity or the proper conduct of the contest is corrupted or adversely affected, including by reason of tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, mechanical manipulation or any other causes beyond its/their control, Contest Sponsor(s) reserve(s) its/their right to cancel, terminate, modify, amend, extend or suspend the contest including cancelling any method of entry, and select a winner from previously received eligible entries.
Any non liscensed video and music usage will be the responsibility of the contest applicant to the 2013 BC Bike Race win a race with Wade Contest. The contest applicant warrants to the BC Bike Race that they have obtained all necessary releases and waivers of existing copyrights to all copywritten material they have used in their submission and will, upon request, provide proof of such releases and waivers to BC Bike Race. The contest applicant will indemnify the BC Bike Race for any costs, losses or damages it incurs resulting from the BC Bike Race’s unintended, unauthorized use of copywritten material.
All completed videos submitted to the BC Bike Race become the property of the BC Bike Race for its use in whole or in part in its sole discretion.
