West Coast Super D

Come out and Cheer on the Muddbunnies Race Team this Sunday April 10th in Belcarra at the West Coast Super D!

Question: What do you get when you mix a super-sized helping of twisty, flowing downhill with a bit of climbing, all set within a luscious garden of winding singletrack resurrected amid the long-forgotten trails of Belcarra?

Answer: the John Henry West Coast Super D

Legendary BC mountain biking supporters John Henry Bikes, Ryders Eyewear, Schwalbe Tires, and Norco are combining with event organizer West Coast Racing to help bring you a heap of swag and prizes.

The Canadian Pacific Trails Association which has built and maintained this trail network for over 30 years is graciously supporting the use of the trails for this event. You can expect to see motorcycles on the trails if you are exploring the area prior to race day, and also on the event day itself (except on the actual course route).

Course Info/Estimated times:New course for this year! Look for more juicy singletrack, that means no road sections, just one climb but expect a few new roots, routes, rocks and rolls! Fast times expected to be 12-15 minutes per run. Show up for a couple of practice runs on race day to double or triple your dose of singletrack goodness. This event is run as a time trial format with each rider leaving at 30 second intervals.Course will be marked for race day only. NOTE: “Self-guided” changes to the course, including but not limited to moving of tape, rocks, logs, modifying or building lines or features will mean the immediate end of your race day, since we are guests of the CPTA, BC Hydro, and GRVD at this venue.

Elevation Profile: see below, for 2 km course
