South Surrey, BC……SORCE (Surrey Off Road Cycling Enthusiasts Society) and the Surrey Parks and Recreation Department regularly sponsor clinics and camps for cyclists at all levels, for all age groups and styles of riding.
A new course for 2007 is the Women’s Shore Style Clinic. This clinic spans three Saturday mornings beginning March 3rd, meeting at the South Surrey Bike Park, and is designed for the experienced beginner to intermediate mountain biker, aged 16 years and over.
Do you want to learn how to get over roots and logs in all weather conditions? Do you want to be comfortable and confident descending rock faces and stairs? Are you curious about skinnies, drops, jumps and ‘The Shore’? If so, this 3 day camp is for you! It will help take your riding to the next level. We will focus on skills training, balance and ‘spotting the perfect line’. This is a women’s only clinic, taught by experienced female riders who are NCCP certified coaches. The atmosphere is fun and supportive.
Join other women for this mountain bike skills clinic. Consider signing up & bring a friend! The cost is only $48.25 for all three sessions! This is the price for a one day session so you are getting three times the value. The proceeds benefit a great cause – SORCE bike club’s trail stewardship.
For this course you will need – a front-suspension or dual-suspension bike in good working order; helmet, full finger gloves, warm clothing, water and a snack. Leg and arm pads are optional.

Hi Tina –
I’m also coaching a clinic on Thursday, April 12…I’ll post more on it soon. Similar idea, just shorter – only 3 hours. Im plan to coach different clinics throughout the spring, so I’ll keep the bunnies informed!
Thanks for your interest!
