The day that most of you thought would never come is around the corner. The first FVMBA-backed trail day at the Woodlot is scheduled to take place on Sunday, 10 June 2007.
Trail: Giant Killer. The trail is beat and it needs lots of work.
No bikes. Please leave your bikes at home — there’ll be plenty of opportunities to hit stuff another day.
Meet at the parking area at the north end of 287th (where you
normally park)at 9:15 for a 9:30am depart time. We expect things to kick off at 10am at the bottom of the trail and continue until later.
Although we’ll have shovels, rakes, and other equipment up there,
we’d like people to bring whatever they can to make sure we don’t run out of gear.
Refreshments & food will be provided.
Be prepared to haul rocks and soil.
